Careforce serves evangelical churches and organisations by finding Christian volunteers aged 17 to 30 from Britain and around the world and placing them in the UK where help is most needed.
Our volunteers are involved with local churches and Christian projects in urban or rural communities; youth and schools work; evangelistic outreach; serving people who are homeless, have drug/alcohol related problems; have a physical disability; have learning disabilities; are from families facing difficulty; supporting the elderly.
Please pray specifically that:
- Our current volunteers will be encouraged as they serve God on their placements, that they'll grow in faith and see many answers to prayer. (See current volunteer list - designed so you can print it off and use it as a daily prayer guide.) Pray specifically that each will have opportunities to speak about Jesus, to love others and, as they serve Him, to know His love for them more and more.
- God will give great wisdom and sensitivity to all our placement supervisors as they guide our volunteers day by day. Each supervisor is very busy with their own responsibilities and we thank God for the time and energy they give to enabling their volunteers to serve effectively.
- God will bring many more Christians to join our team due to start in September. Ask Him to watch over the selection of those who will come to join us from around the world. Also ask God to bring us many more British volunteers this year and that all our placement openings will be filled with suitable people (see helping to recruit if you can help with this).
- Thank God for all who have given so generously to Careforce over the last 25 years. Pray that God would continue to provide for all our financial needs (see giving financially for ways you could give to Careforce).
